My Story

I’ve always been a bit of a creative mutt. I started with music: violin at five, then guitar, piano, vocals. You get the idea. I loved how sound could tell a story, set a tone, or carry meaning without saying a single word. That love for storytelling eventually spilled into other areas. First it was design. Then video. Then all the behind-the-scenes stuff that makes creative work actually work: editing, directing, scripting, running gear, handling post, managing teams, and launching content.

Along the way, I picked up a strange but useful mix of skills. I’ve worked in video production, worship leadership, social media strategy, podcasting, live events, branding, and even a little web design when someone was desperate enough to ask. Whether I was leading a team at a church in Japan or producing videos for a financial brand in the States, the goal was always the same. Make something that matters. Make sure it connects with people.

I don’t just shoot and edit. I help shape the story from the first idea to the final export. I like finding the right tone, the right pacing, the right hook that keeps an audience watching, listening, or nodding along. I’ve worked solo and with crews, on tight budgets and big ones, in studios and in living rooms. If it involves telling a story well, I’m in.
